Golden Tips Series : Chapter = 2 , '' Eating food the correct way ''. PART-2.

I hope you liked Part-1 of this chapter ''Eating food the correct way ''.

Without your love writing, this valuable content was not possible.

So without any further delay, let's get started with Part-2 of chapter = 2.


So in the first part of this chapter, we talked about how to eat food, now in this part, I am going to talk about WHEN to eat food.



In the ancient scripts, it is clearly mentioned that we should never eat anything after sunset.
And the food which is eaten after sunset acts as a slow poison towards our body.

Ayurveda mentions this statement because, after sunset, our digestive fire becomes cooler, and its tendency to digest food decreases. Hence resulting in undigested food and various diseases.

Umm is that possible? Maybe no for you.

In maximum case, people have some sort of official work to do and they cant leave there work to have their dinner, because to them there work is more important.

So is there any solution to this?

Yes, I am here to not only discuss problems but also to give a solution to such problems.

There are just two steps to follow in order to digest your food after sunset.

So here we go...

Step 1. 10 minutes before your dinner eat ginger with a pinch of black salt. (  Best method  ).





Step 2 - Just after completing your meal sit-in Vajrasana position for at least 10 minutes. ( It works ).



Now your food is completely digested.

Interesting right?

Ayurveda has one more Diamond statement.

    '' Eat breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and dinner like a Pauper''.

You may have heard about this but the maximum of us has the wrong conception about this.

The majority of the population thinks that eating like a king means eating more food, but this is actually wrong.

Understand it now!

King is rich, so he can afford nutritious food, hence eating like a king means eating nutritious food, not more food. In addition to this prince is young and he has a strong digestive system, he can eat more food.
And in the case of Pauper, he is poor so he eats less food.

So now you may have started understanding the concept behind this statement, as in the afternoon sun is at its maximum, so the digestive fire is more, resulting in better digestion, hence at this time, we can eat more food.

Golden Tips Series : Chapter = 2 , '' Eating food the correct way ''. PART-1.



Tasty right?

So today I am going to start a new chapter '' Eating food the correct way ".

Everyday-Everyone-Everytime(me) people eat food, but are you eating that food in the correct way?

I guess No.

In ancient scriptures, it is clearly mentioned that we should not eat food. Amazing right? Shocked?
it is 100% true.

So, should you leave eating food from today? No.

Then why Ayurveda mentions this sentence in its book? 

That line looks stupid, but it's actually informative. Let us know.



Let us first know some basics about our digestive system.

When you eat any food, your body first converts it into the liquid, and then the further process takes place.

So from here, we are getting some knowledge about that sentence- If we drink any liquid, our stomach will not go through the liquifying process and the process of digestion will be easier.

But is that really possible to stay only on drinks? According to my perspective No.

So what to do? Where we will find a machine which makes juices of roti/chapatti?

I am here to clear your doubt.

  • You will not have to find any machine, because you already have that machine.
    and that machine is gifted by God, which we call TEETH.

Ayurveda suggests that we must chew our food at least 40 times, in other words,  chew your food until unless the food inside your mouth becomes fluid. Yes, it will take time, but it is not a wastage of time.

Many a time we come to here that, this food is this much nutritious and that food is that much nutritious but it is just a myth.
  • You get those amount of nutrition only when you take it in liquid/fluid form.
  • And the second factor on which it depends is your immunity.
There is a piece of good news for those who like fast foods.

  • If you follow the above process of eating food, you will be less harmed by those junk foods, because by this method almost everything gets digested and you will be healthy despite eating junk foods.

First of all, I would like to thank you for giving an amazing response to the Part-1 and Part-2 of this chapter.

So today I am going to complete this chapter with the two most important points.

The next chapter will be followed by this.

So without any further delay, let's get started with PART-3 of this chapter.


We know that water is good for health, but we know '' Excess of everything is bad ".

The amount of water we should drink totally depends on one's body anatomy.


1. Is drinking more water means more benefits? : In general Yes, but actually NO. Wanna know the reason behind it? then listen, Excess of water dilutes the number of salts(Na) and other electrolytes in your body, and deficiency of which can cause thyroid-related problems.

Excess of water will also swell the cells throughout your body, In the case of brain cells, it is a red alert.


2. Lack of water ( Dehydration ): You may be thinking that, If the excess of water is bad and if we drink less water, we will face dehydration, Then how much water to drink ??? Don't worry, I will clear your problem. Your body will itself tell you how much water you have to drink. There are five symptoms which your body shows when you lack water, accordingly, you can set your water intake, those symptoms are as followed:-

  • Yellowish urine ( Not transparent ).




  • Parched Lips.


  • Very Dry Skin.


  • Lack of energy.


  • Rapid Breathing.




So here we are completing our chapter '' Drinking water the correct way ''.

Golden Tips series : Chapter = 1. Drinking water the correct way. PART-2.


So, hello, how are you, maybe fine, thank you for coming to my blog once again,

You are intelligent enough to know this is part 2 of the chapter mentioned above.

So let's begin ...

1. Can we drink water while having meals? : The answer is a big NO, you will face numerous problems related to your digestive tract. In ancient scriptures, it is clearly mentioned that drinking water while having food is poisonous. You may have one question that, is there any substitute to it? Yes, you can drink curd or dal as a substitute.

        Note:- Drinking water while having oily food is most dangerous.




2. When should we drink water? : We should drink water one hour before consuming any meal and after one hour of completion of that meal. 

 

3. What type of water we should drink? : This is really a good question, Ayurveda clearly mentions in its ancient scriptures that the type of water we should drink differs from season to season.
  •    Summer Season: Water kept in clay pots.
  •    Winter season:  Water kept in copper vessels.
  •    Rainy season:  Boiled water.

    Note:- It is not recommended to drink water kept in copper vessels in the rainy season, because of the number of a copper content gram per mole increases in our body, and copper is a good conductor of electricity. As a result, your energy will be taken by our mother earth.


4. Can we drink refrigerated water? : No, refrigerated water should be avoided, because it will decrease hemoglobin content in your body, Want to know how? Then listen, Whatever food and water you take inside your body( According to Ayurveda ), our body first increases the temperature of the food or water is taken and the energy required to heat it up is provided by our blood.
So from this, we can conclude that the more the hotter thing we take inside our body more the body will able to digest and the amount of hemoglobin content in our body will be normal.

Golden Tips series : Chapter = 1. Drinking water the correct way. PART-1.




The whole universe knows that without water survival is not possible, but are you drinking water the correct way? Let's check it out.
1. Best time to drink water: As soon as you wake up in the morning you should drink at least 1 L of water. This is because at the time you wake up the saliva present in your mouth is maximum which is alkaline in nature and your body is acidic.



2. The correct way of drinking water: The water should be drunk slowly sip by sip, without giving pressure to your stomach.


3. How much water to drink in a day?: We should drink at least 3 to 4 liters of water in a day.


4. Drink water by sitting comfortably at a particular place: If you drink water or any liquid by standing or walking you will face joint pain in the near future, especially on your knees.
